What is Pomegranate Molasses?

Pomegranate molasses is a syrup made by reducing pomegranate juice.

This thick, dark liquid has a sweet and tart flavor. It has roots in the Middle East, where people have used it for centuries not just for cooking but also for its health benefits, which are largely attributed to the high levels of antioxidants found in pomegranates. These antioxidants can help reduce inflammation, lower the risk of heart disease, and improve digestion.
