Betsy Bacon became interested in cooking and food related topics when she received her first cookbook as a Christmas present, “The New York Times Large Print Cookbook,” by Jean Hewett, in 1968. She purchased her first cookbook on her own, “Come Into My Kitchen,” by the Southern author Celia Marks, while living in Nashville with her husband. Her interest in cooking led to interest in products for the kitchen and kitchen design. She is a partner in her husband’s music and production company, Michael Bacon Music LLC, the performing company Forosoco LLC, and the New Orleans based interior designer Nicholas Crowell.
