Michael Dreyer

Michael Dreyer was adopted at the age of 2 from Saigon, Vietnam at the tail end of the war. His aunt had met an American soldier, returning with him to America. It’s through that connection that he arrived in the States.

Michael grew up gravitating towards the liberal arts and excelled in the performing arts. He is a multidisciplinary creative as a chef, writer, actor and multi instrumentalist singer songwriter.

From his early 20’s he would transcend commercial kitchens and explore the world cooking aboard 112’-150’ super yachts throughout Lake Michigan, Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean. As a Private Chef, he’d travel to various estates in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Aspen, Chicago, The Berkshires, Cape Cod, The Hamptons, Manhattan, Palm Beach, Naples and Miami.

“I’ve entered a new chapter in my life letting go of all the travel and opening a kitchen in Warwick, RI at an event center called The Event Factory. I’m at the top of my game trusting in the instincts I’ve developed and ready to fly! My food is Asian Latino fine comfort cuisine which is a multi cultural perspective returning to the basics of cooking utilizing only clean ingredients prepared with passion. It’s simple done well.”
