Christine Burns Rudalevige is a classically trained cook living in Brunswick, Maine. She’s worked in professional kitchens since she was 15 and completed her formal culinary school training at 43. Her writing appears regularly in numerous magazines. Her weekly column in the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram, called Green Plate Special, focuses on eating local, sustainably grown foods. She is the author of Green Plate Special (Islandport Press 2017).
